Recall Failed – Insufficient Signatures

The recall effort failed to gather sufficient signatures. For Trustee Matthew Dent, there were 1,726 valid signatures submitted and for Trustee Sara Schmitz, there were 1,687 valid signatures. Both fell short of the minimum requirement of 1,801 signatures to qualify for a recall special ballot. The process is now over unless there is a challenge with the Secretary of State.
