Washoe County provided an update and estimate for the number of No Overnight Parking Signs. There will be two signs per post mounted in both directions with the restricted times noted on the signs. The signs are expected to be in place within the next two weeks.
Incline Way – From Country Club Drive to Southwood Boulevard. Signs are required on both sides of the street with approximately 175’ spacing. 36 signs will be placed. Washoe County recommends 6 signs from Village Blvd. to 898 Incline Way, on both sides on Incline Way because of overnight trailer parking.
Lakeshore Boulevard – From the Hyatt to Village Blvd. Signs will be placed on the north side of Lakeshore Blvd. with approximately 175’ spacing. Washoe County recommends 4-7 No Overnight Parking signs be installed.
Lakeshore Boulevard – From Shoreline Circle to 664 Lakeshore Blvd. Signs will be placed on the north side of Lakeshore Blvd. with approximately 175’ spacing. 10 signs are required. Washoe County recommends extending the signage to Crystal Peak Rd. because of the overnight parking of trailers. This would require an additional 12 signs. In addition, the County recommends 3 signs from 570 to 560 Lakeshore because of overnight trailer parking.
IVGID requested additional signage:
Lakeshore Boulevard – 2 No Parking signs will be placed on the south side of Lakeshore Blvd. from 967 Lakeshore Blvd. (west side of Ski Beach entrance), heading west, to the east side of the bridge.
Lakeshore Boulevard – 5 No Overnight Parking signs will be placed on the south side of Lakeshore Blvd. from the west side of the bridge, heading west, to Village Blvd.
Lakeshore Boulevard – 2 to 3 No Parking Signs will be placed on the south side of Lakeshore Blvd. from the west side of the entrance of Burnt Cedar Beach to approximately 200’ to the west.
