On Monday, October 12th two meetings are being held that relate to the Tahoe Transportation District’s purchase of the ‘old’ elementary school property for the use of a Regional Transit Hub.
NDOT supported the grant which provided the funds to TTD for the purchase. At 9:30 a.m., NDOT will be meeting and while the issue is not on their agenda, this is a last opportunity for public comment. We just learned their period for public comment ended today. If you have not commented, you may click here to view the agenda and instructions for calling in for public comment.
At noon, TRPA is holding their meeting where you may once again share your comments regarding the proposed Regional Transit Hub. You may also want to comment on TRPA’s plan to increase buses throughout the basin.
You must register with TRPA to be included in their zoom meeting. To register, send an email to zoom1@trpa.org and ask for instructions on how to register for this meeting. Once registered, you will be given instructions for how to make your comments.
