TRPA Innovative Housing Solutions Webinar

Lake Tahoe’s affordable housing crisis is growing despite increased public financing, land donations, and subsidies. The Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) and housing partners in the basin are working to ensure affordable housing solutions can come from many directions. The agency is drafting policy amendments that would encourage private property owners and builders to contribute to the solutions while maintaining high environmental standards and continuing improvements to Lake Tahoe’s water quality.

This public webinar will cover possible changes to TRPA height, density, and land coverage policies that would be available only for projects that are providing deed-restricted affordable, moderate, and achievable housing. Q&A will be offered at the end of the webinar.
