Tuesday, September 20, at 10:00 am -1001 E. 9th Street, Reno. Agenda items of interest are the extension of the Justice Court lease and funds for the lower Wood Creek Water Quality Project. Below are the details for these items:
Item 9.C.1: Recommendation to approve a Lease Agreement between Washoe County and Marilyn M Chim Family Trust, for continued occupancy of office space for the Incline Justice Court located at 865 Tahoe Boulevard, Incline Village, Nevada, for a 3-month term, effective October 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022 [$7,836.10 per month October – December 2022] and then on a month to month basis with a 6% increase until Washoe County vacates the current leased property [$8,306.25 per month]. Item 11: Recommendation to accept the transfer of Water Quality Mitigation Funds from the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency to Washoe County [in the amount of $592,903.00] to be used as Washoe County’s match for the Lower Wood Creek Phase II Water Quality Project; and, if approved, direct the Comptroller’s Office to make the necessary Fiscal Year 2023 budget amendments. The Lower Wood Creek Phase II Water Quality Project will reduce sedimentation loading to Lake Tahoe in alignment with Washoe County’s long-term commitment to enhance lake water clarity.
