Candidate Information

There are four candidates for Washoe County Commissioner District 1, our district, and seven candidates for IVGID Trustee. Jeff Church is being challenged for his seat on the Washoe County School District board.

The candidates for Washoe County Commissioner District 1 are Alexis Hill (D – incumbent), Eugene Hoover (R), Melissa Fitch (R) and Marsha Berkbigler (R). Candidates for State Assembly 26, our district, include Diane Sullivan (D), Richard DeLong (R – incumbent) and Scott Savage (D). Candidates for Washoe County School District, District A, include Christine Hull, Jeff Church (incumbent), Stephanie Flores and Tara Horne. Candidates for IVGID Trustee are Frank Wright, Harry Swenson, Kevin Sammelman, Mark Case, Michael (Mick) Homan, Michaela Tonking (incumbent) and Michelle Jezycki.

The primary election is set for June 11, with early voting from May 25 to June 7.
