he agenda topics we highlighted for the October 30th Board of Trustees meeting were removed from that agenda and are included as part of the November 13th meeting.
The Board will hold a public hearing on the District’s plans to enter into a minimum $121,605.12 medium term installment purchase agreement for new gas powered golf carts for the Mountain Course. This is a lease agreement carrying a 5% nominal interest rate with an option to purchase the carts at the end of the four year term. The Board will review and potentially approve the resolution for the installment purchase agreement. In the event four members of the Board do not approve this agreement and accompanying resolution, the Board will vote on a motion to purchase the golf carts outright for $204,627.16. Also on the agenda, are the review and possible approval of an alternative design option for the Tennis Center renovation as well as a discussion and possible approval of one of the four potential locations for bocce courts.
Also removed from the October 30 agenda, but NOT included as part of the November 13th agenda, was the review of the revised draft of the Trustee Handbook. (It’s interesting to note that a prior meeting agenda item to discuss the role of Trustees resulted in no discussion. Instead, the handbook was brought forth for discussion and was subsequently deferred.)
