On June 4th, we published an explanation of the reduction of the Recreation and Beach Fees that can be viewed here. Additionally, GM Winquest wrote another explanation that can be viewed here. The Tahoe Daily Tribune also wrote an article covering the meeting that included the discussion of the reduction of the Recreation and Beach Fees and can be read by clicking here.
The total fee for Recreation and Beach fees was reduced to $455 thereby reducing the value of punch cards to $91 and reducing the fees on Washoe County property tax bills by $325 from last year. Remember, you’re able to pay by credit card for your guests at the beaches. The beach access fee for an adult is $16, which remained unchanged from last year.
