July 5th CAB Meeting – Update on Evacuation Plan

The Incline Village Crystal Bay Citizen Advisory Board meeting has been moved to Wednesday June 5, 2023 at 5:30 p.m., due to the July 4 holiday and closure of County offices on July 3.  The CAB meeting will take place in person at the Incline Village Library located at 845 Alder Ave., Incline Village, and can also be accessed by using the following Zoom webinar link: https://us06web.zoom.us/j/82231865379?pwd=TTF2M3FaSnR0bE9jQVA2Q1lJb2hqUT09

This should be an informative meeting as Kelly Echeverria, Emergency Manager, Washoe County, will provide an update on an evacuation plan for the Incline Village/Crystal Bay area.  Captain Blaine Beard, Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and Chief Ryan Sommers, North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District, will discuss the roles of their offices in the emergency evacuation plan and evacuations, and their perspectives on emergency evacuation from Incline Village Crystal Bay. This meeting will also be an opportunity for the Incline Village Crystal Bay community to give input to Kelly Echeverria, Captain Beard and Chief Sommers on concerns and comments concerning emergency evacuation from our community.
