Letter From Our CAB Chair

Dear Incline Village Crystal Bay Community Members,

This coming Monday, November 1 at 5:30 p.m., the Incline Village/Crystal Bay Citizen Advisory Board (CAB) will meet via zoom.  Attached is the link to the meeting agenda providing you with the materials being presented and the zoom instructions for providing public comments.  This is the beginning of the CAB meetings where the County and other governmental and non-governmental will make presentations on topics of interest to our community. As community members, you’re able to provide public comment regarding the presentations and materials being presented.  There will be initial public comment limited to 3 minutes as well as public comment after each agenda item, that is also limited to 3 minutes.  Trevor Lloyd, Washoe County Planning Manager of the Washoe County Planning and Building Division, will discuss the development process. This is your opportunity to provide input to the County about your desires with respect to building and development projects and the future role of the CAB in review of the projects, if any.  There will also be a presentation from the newly formed Washoe Tahoe Housing Partnership that will be coordinating the needs assessment and strategic plan for local resident housing in the Incline Village and Crystal Bay.

For those unable to attend, your written emails will be shared with the speakers and the agency which they represent.  I have been advised that only CAB members are able to ask questions of the speakers under the current CAB rules, so I am encouraging you to send your questions to me or any other CAB Member and we will try to ask as many community member questions as possible.  Here is the link to the CAB Roster with contact information for each of the CAB members.  Please also copy your questions to CAB@WashoeCounty.gov.  Please allow sufficient time for your email to be reviewed in advance of the meeting.
