Background Information: The Ordinance 7 Committee was formed to develop recommendations to the IVGID Board of Trustees addressing community concerns of over-crowding at our beaches. Some of the Committee’s preliminary recommendations have been adopted this summer in the Board approved Resolution to limit beach over-crowding due to the continued COVID pandemic concerns. The Ordinance 7 Committee created the survey to obtain community input on a number of areas of concern prior to finalizing their recommendations to the Board.
When completing the survey, be aware that daily beach passes are no longer being issued. This summer, Picture Pass Card holders may pay for their guests using a credit card at the beach booth. For those using Punch Cards, the Punch Card must be presented and used as the form of payment for beach access.
Before sending your guests to the beach with a Punch Card, be sure to check the balance on the card and verify the balance remaining will cover all of your guests entry fees. Click here to check the balance of punch cards.
The beach hosts have asked us to remind you NOT to bring glass, including wine bottles, to the beach. Glass is not allowed.
