At their meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 28th, the agenda includes the potential amendment to the zoning for Incline Village Special Area 1, the SR 28 commercial corridor, to allow single family condominium use where the plan currently restricts the use to multi-family and mixed-use to entice affordable housing. This change is being proposed while other efforts are underway to further increase the height, density and reduced coverage to entice affordable housing.
The other agenda item of interest to our community is a six-month extension of the temporary use permit for the operation of the East Shore Express from the Old Elementary School location. Many reported safety issues with its operation last summer.
