On Monday, at the Incline Village Library and via Zoom, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input to Washoe County regarding the election process and learn about the newly rebranded Incline Village Crystal Bay Visitors Bureau. You will learn about the amount and use of the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT from hotels and Short Term Rentals) and hear their plans for tourism.
Jamie Rodriguez, the new Washoe County Registrar of Voters, will speak about the process, outcome and highlights of the 2022 General Election. This is an opportunity for voters to advise our new Washoe County Registrar of Voters about issues of concern and thoughts about the 2022 elections and future elections.
Andy Chapman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Travel North Tahoe Nevada, formerly known as the Incline Village Crystal Bay Visitors Bureau, will speak about rebranding and the coming changes to this tourism organization. As you know this tourism organization receives a large annual portion from the RSCVA from the Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT) dollars paid on short term rentals in Incline Village Crystal Bay, and the public will be an opportunity to ask questions and share your thoughts.
