Efforts to Improve our Walkways in Winter

We have been working over the past few winters to improve the timeliness of the snow removal from our walkways. We were informed last winter that Washoe County was planning to budget for the purchase of equipment and the needed staff to clear our walkways with improved timeliness. With this first big storm of the season, we hope to see improvement in the clearing. By having walkways cleared as streets are being cleared, we are hoping for safer winter walking in our village.
